Our car radio decoding service covers several brands fitted to Renault, Peugeot, Citroen, Fiat, Mercedes, Chrysler, Ford and more, including sat-nav units.  

Below is a list of some of the models we have successfully decoded for customers, not a full list but gives you some detail of the more popular units we are able to decode.

What we need to know
You will need to pull out the car radio from the dashboard to read the part number and serial number from the radio's chassis - this will be on a printed label, engraved on the metal case, or both. You may need keys to remove the radio - there are a few different types and you can find them in motoring stores or online such as the choice of radio removal keys here.

Not all codes for radios can be found using a serial number decoder. In some cases, the code is stored in the database held by the vehicle manufacturer and you will need to contact your nearest car dealership (they may ask for the vehicle's VIN). We will tell you if this is the case. The only alternative in these cases is to have the code reset on a workbench by an engineer.
