AXIS brings new CDT amp to the UK
AXIS has launched American brand CDT's new amplifier, the SQA-4100, in the UK. World renowned for superior sounding component speakers, this is CDT's first foray into the UK automotive amplifier market.
The highly flexible SQA-4100 is the first in a range of four amplifiers planned. It is delivered with an individual "birth certificate" containing actual performance figures for each product - in all cases these exceed the official performance figures quoted, which are issued only as a guide.
Delivered as a 4 X 110 Watt RMS class AB amplifier, the SQA-4100 produces 4 X 130 Watt RMS into 2 Ohms and is bridgeable into two channels, providing 300 Watts into 4 Ohms per bridgeable pair of channels. It contains fully adjustable 24dB/octave crossovers and a sub-sonic filter. There are no less than five protection circuits. Other features include soft start/mute circuit, input level controls, and daisy chain facility for connection in a multi-amp system. Internally there are two circuit boards, one for low signal level electronics and the other handling power supply and output stages.
The SQA-4100 is available now and is set to retail at £499.99 inc. VAT.
