Safer In-Car Communication from Sony
In-car communication is now safer with the new MEX-BT2500 Bluetooth™ head unit from Sony, available from March 2007. The stylishly-designed in-car CD tuner allows you to enjoy your favourite music and also offers a simple hands-free solution to enable safe Bluetooth™ mobile phone use whilst driving.
Easy to use, the Sony MEX-BT2500 connects automatically to your mobile phone via Bluetooth™ and features what Sony claim to be a super-sensitive built-in microphone, so there is no need to use a headset or install a hands-free car kit. As well as allowing safe hands-free calling with a Bluetooth phone, the MEX-BT2500 also supports the Bluetooth A2DP specification – more widely known as stereo music streaming.
In addition, enjoy your favourite music in unrivalled quality when you connect your Bluetooth™ enabled Sony WALKMAN or MP3 device. Alternatively connect other devices with the help of the Sony TMR-BT10 Bluetooth™ accessory that simply plugs directly into the external audio player’s headphone socket.
Packed with features, the Sony MEX-BT2500 is also protected by advanced shock damper technology for surer, skip-free CD tracking. Bluetooth™ connectivity also provides a major ‘zero visibility’ security benefit. With no wires, no cradles and no mounting suckers on show, nobody needs to know that you’ve been listening to your portable digital music collection or using your phone inside the vehicle.
