New Sunseekers wired for Alpine sound

The world's most prominent luxury yacht manufacturer, Sunseeker, has once again chosen Alpine to provide premium quality on-board entertainment systems for its latest boats being launched at the 2007 Southampton boat show, September 14 to 23. The Sunseeker Predator 52, Manhattan 52 and Manhattan 70 motoryachts will feature Alpine's integrated audio-visual systems, giving owners a high-quality entertainment system as standard.

The Predator 52 is a high-performance motor yacht designed for high-speed cruising and as a platform for watersports, but inside the spacious saloon, with its semicircular seating plan, is a fully-integrated Alpine entertainment system. An LCD flatscreen and Alpine's DVA-9861Ri DVD/CD head unit with surround sound works with the ergonomics of the living area, creating a cinema-sound effect. The central entertainment head unit also runs speakers into the command cockpit.

The new Manhattan 52 joins the fleet as Sunseeker's entry-level flybridge yacht, but they feature a similarly high level of audio-visual provision. Flatscreen televisions grace all the cabins, and Alpine CDA-9883R radio/CD systems are found in all the staterooms. The CDA-9883R in the cockpit is controlled with an AOU71 remote, which features its own digital display, and is fully waterproof. The new Manhattan 70 sits at the very top of the Sunseeker flybridge range, and features the same DVA-9861Ri DVD/CD head unit surround sound system as the Predator, not only in the saloon, but also in the aft master stateroom.

In all cases, Sunseeker has worked closely with Alpine to produce near-bespoke sound and vision installations that complement the interiors of the new craft and ensure the best sound quality wherever you are on the boat. The Alpine installations confirm Sunseeker's ongoing commitment to only providing the highest quality premium equipment on their vessels. On the road, Alpine audio systems can be found as original equipment in Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz, Lotus and Land-Rover cars.
