FSM join MMSA family

Portsmouth-based FSM Ltd, distributors of Magnat Car HiFi, Mac Audio, Phase Evolution, Stinger, Jehnert and a number of other brands, has joined as an Associate Member of the Mobile Media Specialist Association.

Commenting on becoming a member, FSM Managing Director Steve Fryer said "we are delighted to be supporting an association that looks to be very pro-active in helping to increase store traffic for the independent specialists, and especially one that is actively using the Internet to put across the benefits of buying from these professionals. We think the InCar Expert concept is a very strong initiative."

MMSA Secretary Kevin O'Byrne welcomed FSM to the family. "As a long established independent distributor, FSM has provided a first class service and fine products to the specialist market for many years and it's great to have them on board. Market conditions have never been tougher, with severly reduced profit margins and more sales going through fewer dealers because of the effect of cost-cutting Internet sellers and aggressive high street marketing. The independents have been squeezed but many suppliers are beginning to realise that they must support them or lose a valuable service-centered retail resource. We hope and expect many more suppliers to join and support our efforts, because no one else is currently as active in trying to promote the specialist industry in the UK."

Stinger installation accessories, Jehnert custom door panels and InCarTec interface solutions will be the first of FSM's product lines to feature on the MMSA's unique InCarExpert.co.uk shopping mall.
