Usage of this web site and its forums
The Mobile Media Specialists' Association has established a World
Wide Web site, with Forums for discussion and communication, to
further the established goals of the association.
MMSA does not endorse or oppose opinions expressed by our members,
but expects all communications to be in accord with the MMSA Principals
of Professional Conduct and Ethics. Bad language will not be tolerated.
- Online conduct should be guided by common sense and basic etiquette.
- Chain Letters and pyramid schemes are not allowed.
- Unsolicited advertising is not allowed.
- Participants may not use the member directory or any other area
of the MMSA web site to harvest or collect information about MMSA
members for commercial purposes. The use of such information for
the purpose of sending unsolicited bulk e-mail is strictly prohibited.
In keeping with MMSA's Principals of Professional Conduct and Ethics
members should not:
- Post, transmit, promote, or distribute content that is illegal.
- Harass, threaten, embarrass or do anything else to another member
that is unwanted. If you disagree with someone, respond to the
subject, not the person.
- Transmit or facilitate distribution of content that is harmful,
abusive, racially or ethnically offensive, vulgar, sexually explicit,
or in a reasonable person's view, objectionable.
- Disrupt the flow of online chat with vulgar language, abusiveness,
hitting the return key repeatedly or inputting large images, etc.
This is online vandalism and it ruins the experience for others.
- Pretend to be anyone who you are not.
- Violate posted MMSA guidelines, UK laws or foreign or international
law.
The Webmaster will administer all Internet communication programs
and may, at his or her discretion, appoint discussion group leaders
to monitor and facilitate online interaction. He may remove the
communication privileges of individuals who violate these policies.
